Judy Chamberlin

Judy is a five time All-American in Cross Country and Track & Field at the University of Northern Colorado. She won the Triple Crown of Running which consists of the Garden of the Gods 10 Mile, Colorado Springs 10K and the Pikes Peak Ascent, a record 5 times. She was one of the top USA Road Racers placing consistently in the top 5 (among them was Colorado’s Bolder Boulder with a 3rd place Finish) and winning a number of major national road races. She competed as one of the top USA runners in the USA Track and Field Championships 4 times placing 3rd in 1989 with a 10K time of 32:56

Judy is  the 1975 Colorado State Champion in the 880 run with a time of 2:20.1.

Judy is a five time All-American in Cross Country and Track & Field at the University of Northern Colorado and was inducted into the UNC Athletic Hall of Fame

Judy has represented the USA on five world teams:

1986 IAAF World Road Relay Challenge, Hiroshima Japan, USA placed 3rd; 1988
IAAF World Cross Country Championships, she placed 42nd in the world helping the USA Team place 4th
1989 IAAF 15Km World Championships, as the top American, 11th overall, in 51:28
Yokohama International Women’s Ekiden, she won the 7.2km leg and the US women placed 7th

Judy continues to run and share her knowledge, experience, and love for the sport with the high school athletes she passionately and devotedly coaches, in both track and cross country, at Wheat Ridge High School, where she has coached for 22 years.
